Erin Hunter has written yet again another amazing animal series. The book takes you deep into the African savanna, full of friendship, revenge, betrayal, mystery and just a hint of magic.I have to say I love this series (so far) almost as much as Warriors. While I do not agree with Erin's beliefs, she has a beautiful way of writing about animals. The story follows three young animals, a loyal baboon named Thorn, a broken-hearted lion cub named Fearless, and a future-reading elephant calf named Sky. These three animals are happy living their lives on the peaceful Bravelands. But when disaster strikes each young mammal, they must decide what path to take- the good, or the bad. Erin Hunter has done it again, with her fourth epic animal series. Truly a novel worth reading.
The newest by Erin Hunter doesn't disappoint. The action is there but what I like is the thought that comes before the action.You can feel yourselfin the animal's place.I am tired of a lot of the depressing or graphic books out there. At 63,I know I can pick up an Erin Hunter book & be totally entertained. I look forward eagerly to each adventure.
My daughter is LOVING this new series! She is ready for more! Has already read Warriors, Survivors, & Seekers. She LOVES them all! She is also re-reading many of her Warriors. I don't know how she does it, but she gets it done! Erin Hunter is aweome! Not only does my Sassy love her books, but my other older teens read most of her books while they were younger. This is gonna be a BIG hit like Warriors, we think!
I didn't know what this would be but when I read it I was immediately hooked! I love this book so much! I hope there are many more to come!
Any fan of the warriors would love this new series by Erin Hunter. Even if one has never read warriors or any other series written by Erin this is a great series to get into no matter ones age.The story follows three characters: Swiftcub the lion cub, Thorn a baboon looking to raise in rank, and Sky a young elephant. I admit, given what the summary was, the story seemed a little slow at first, however, as it picked up there twists I never saw coming and the way you grew attached to the side characters especially made the story all the more worthwhile.I have suggested the book to anyone who either loves Erin Hunter stories or just the animals which are portrayed here. The story is fantastic.
I loved the book Bravelands by the Hunters. It was a fantastic read and I could not put it down. It was a nice change from wild cats, dogs, and bears. I loved the way everything was set up. It was so harmonious. The plot twists were unexpected, as they should be, and made the story much more interesting. The viewpoints, told from a lion, baboon, and an elephant were extremely well written. I can not wait for the next book!
I'm very excited about Erin's new book series! This book isn't as good as the some of the Warrior Cat books, but it was still good. The book series so far has a very interesting plot. Also, If you have sensitive children who are going to read this, however, be warned. There is some slightly gruesome death and blood scenes, so if your children can't handle this, they shouldn't read the book. I find it very interesting to read in the opinions of African animals, I've never found a book that's done this before. All in all, the book was pretty good.
This a perfect beginning for a series of many animals diaries to read. This is a rare thing to get to read
