WOW! Kudos to the author for this collection of Iceland photos.I use Kindle App for iPad and usually when I enlarge photos in Kindle books, they get blurred and grainy. This time not. I was able to enlarge them to the size of the screen or bigger and they were still of very good quality. Not sure what the author did differently than others, but it worked well.I visited Iceland some years ago during summer and enjoyed beautiful landscapes, so different from those I have around me. Through the photos I got a bit of that feel back and I am sure I will return to the book a few more times.If you want a detailed Iceland guide, I suggest you look for another book. But if you are like me and you get inspired by beautiful photos and nature, you will enjoy this book very much.
On my Android tablet and laptop, I wasn't able to get it to display over more than half the page, but I'm not positive that this would occur on every device for every user, so I'm not considering that in this review. Nonetheless, please be aware that it could happen.This is a lovely collection of photographs, with especially gorgeous views of the waterfalls and wildlife. I would have appreciated more information about what I was seeing, however. This is definitely a collection of attractive photos from Iceland rather than a photographic guide to Iceland or its many beautiful features.
